At Lily & Dove Aesthetics, one size does not fit all. Waxers are typically encouraged to follow “company created patterns” designed to give the quickest wax possible without much consideration for client comfort or the uniqueness of the client’s hair.

Your wax should be as unique as you are. From your hair growth pattern, to your hair density, to the coarseness of your hair, you are completely one of a kind. Trying to squeeze every client into a cookie cutter wax pattern can result in broken hairs, more ingrowns, and a more painful wax. At Lily & Dove, your wax experience will be tailored to you and your hair growth. Sometimes this means smaller or larger sections, warmer or cooler wax, and sometimes this even means positioning you differently on the wax bed to get those hard to reach hairs. I put my 8 years of experience to work and came up with my own unique techniques and skin prep tricks to ensure you have the most painless brazilian wax ever.
THE WAX
Hard wax is the gentlest wax available for the skin, and Lily & Dove uses a superior hard wax for brazilian and brow services. This wax does not require a strip to be removed; it is simply applied, left to dry for a few seconds, and pulled. The magic of hard wax is that it doesn’t cling to the skin! It lifts off the skin as it dries and seals itself around the hair only, resulting in a less painful service than traditional soft wax. It also allows for clean up strips, meaning you’ll get your cleanest wax ever.
As an added bonus, this wax contains argan oil, arnica, and aloe vera which will help to calm and nourish the skin as we work. This combined with my unique skin prep process will ensure an incredibly gentle waxing experience.
THE VIBES
